Bambinart Gallery is pleased to present "Absurd daily life between June 17th and February", a solo exhibition by Mio Ebisu.

"Difficulty in northern Europe is the difference in sunshine hours between winter, spring and summer. In the winter there is only the dark sky, the sun has disappeared somewhere. At these times, I do not know where I am. When spring comes, I remember the existence of 'life'. There is a fear that winter = "death" or "darkness" will come in the brain while enjoying the summer. This feeling is stained on this land, and there are places where you can not find beauty in death or darkness. The only benefit comes from trying to avoid the darkness and accompanying heaviness, however much you affirm all the bright or light things, it is not enough, always more is possible." - Mio Ebisu

Mio Ebisu was born in 1987, in Tokyo, Japan. She graduated from the Department of Oil Painting at Musashino Art University in 2012. She now lives and works in Berlin, Germany.
