Bambinart Gallery is pleased to announce the exhibition　Tomomi Yoshizawa "Recent Works".

Yoshizawa (born in Sendai, 1984) finished her graduate study at Tokyo University of Arts in 2010.

"JOY and SORROW"、"LIGHT and SHADOW"･･･. Whenever she encounters one side of these dichotomies, Yoshizawa says she strongly feels the opposing side. She also feels that any weird or uncanny thing she accidently encounters was fated to end up there through some cosmic connection.

Her questioning "But where is the connection?" makes her believe that everything is actually connected and united in existence. This unity translates into her pictures where opposing concepts like "JOY" and "SORROW" blend into each other.

Life is an endless search for its meaning. People aimlessly wander through their years in hope of attaining something to base their values on. Yoshizawa's paintings calmly point this out ot the viewer.
