Bambinart Gallery is pleased to announce the solo exhibition by Fumiko Takai“the water".

Takai, born in Kanagawa Prefecture in 1982, is currently enrolled in the doctoral program of Department of Oil Painting of Tokyo University of the Arts. She also studied at Academy of Fine Arts, Nuremberg from 2007 to 2008. She has held exhibitions at KREIS Galerie in Nuremberg in 2009 and at Gallery LVS in Seoul in 2010, and has participated in group shows at Sparkasse Bank in Lauf in 2008 and at Gustav Adolf Memorial Church in Nuremberg in 2009.

Her pieces are characterized in their soft, blending colors and coherent theme. They materialize as depictions of a sensation from within, a place not even your emotions can touch. Her landscape and still-life paintings follows Expressionism and are titled as symbolic representations. This exhibition will show her most recent works including two size-100 paintings.
