Bambinart Gallery is pleased to announce the first solo exhibition by Yuriko Wada from September 11 through October 9.

Yuriko Wada has learned oil painting at the Tokyo University of the Arts and now attends a graduate course taught at the same university under the tutelage of O JUN.
She is interested in nature and cosmic unity, her attention focusing on the composition of a portrait or a landscape and its elements. These colorful drawings are like trump d'oeil and one can appreciate the hidden world within her artworks once you discover its governing rules.

"Seeing multiple worlds within another world... I am drawn towards such nestled motifs, possibly because it reminds me that we too are nestled in overlayering environments. We live in a city surrounded by sea and air, within earth, part of the solar system, that is a spec of dust in the universe -Yuriko Wada
